Privacy policy

This website, katecsak.com, is operated by Kathleen Csak (Kate Csák Fine Art), based in Canada. I take your privacy seriously and collect only what I need to respond to you and run this small studio.

What I collect

When you send an inquiry, I receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, country and what you tell me about your portrait. I use this only to reply to you and, if we work together, to complete your commission.

When you join studio letters, I receive your email address and, if you share it, your first name. I use this only to send occasional studio news. Every letter includes a link to unsubscribe, and you can also ask me to remove you at any time.

When you browse the site, basic technical information (such as browser type and the pages visited) may be collected by my hosting and analytics providers to keep the site secure and understand how it's used. This information is not used to identify you personally.

How your information is handled

I never sell or rent your information. Inquiries and mailing list sign-ups are processed by trusted service providers that store data on my behalf, which may be located in Canada, the United States or elsewhere. Your information is shared only as needed to run the site, deliver your artwork (for example, with a shipping carrier), or where required by law.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or withdraw your consent to receive email, at any time. Depending on where you live (for example in Canada under PIPEDA, or in the EU/UK under GDPR), you may have additional rights, and I'll honor them.
